Last Sunday we were invited in this restaurant. We hadn't been in this place for some years because our last experience had been very bad.How lucky we were to go here again, because the restaurant is nearby where we live. What a nice surprise. The food was excellent and completely different from what we remembered. Tasty dishes, a very nice presentation and a good price performance relatio. Also the proposed menu's where interesting and innovative. A nice selection of wines and, fortunately, the service was still as good as in the past. It was like a kind of home coming again. A very nice surprise. We will visit this place again as a regular.
Jardin de Sabastien was absolutely lovely and just the perfect location to celebrate our niece's engagement and my husband's birthday. It was the first truly French dining experience of our 3 week trip and the service was as excellent as the meal. The setting in the garden next to a beautiful golf club is very sophisticated and traditional. The menu was minimal but elegantly presented and delicious. The meal was a luxurious 3 hours spent on our vacation and we highly recommend a visit while here.
We had a pleasant walk to this restaurant from our hotel in the neighborhood. La Cherenaie. The back garden is pleasant with plenty of space between tables to allow us privacy. The service was exceptional and very friendly. We speak only English but the wait staff was very helpful with our menu. We both had cold carrot soup with a hint of curry, I had the turbot and my wife the dorado. I finished with the apple tart and a glass of calvados. We spent 3 enjoyable hours here. I highly recommend it.
The ambiance, service were 5-star, but the food, though acceptable, lacked all wow factor. We chose the more expensive menu at 49€, my wife chose fillet steak with a sauce that was way too licquoriced, it was described as licquoriced, but someone had too heavy a hand. My sea-bass was plain and jaded, with it's skin unfried, where I expected crisped. I think the menu was ott at 49, and would not have been good value even if it had been much better.

We have a house nearby, and have been to this nice restaurant several times during the past 12 years. In the summer time they have a great back garden. The menu changes regulary, and they have a choice of set menues and ala carte. We have never been dissapointed with the food quality. My wife is an vegetarian, and they have always made a good lunch/dinner for her. Friendly staff
We had been trying to book this Restaurant for some time and were looking forward to it from previous advice given. However we were very disappointed in the food selection we made. Each of us had something different but nothing was up to the standard we expected. The garden area was attractive but the inside was nothing special.We will not re-visit.
A few tables set out in a pretty garden which is perfect for a romantic evening or with friends. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. One of the best meals we've had along that part of the coast. Will definitely go back there.
We have never been dissapointed with the food quality. It has a lovely terrace setting, the service was good and the food excellent, The menus were slightly limited and the wine list expensive, but we enjoyed our meal and would recommend it.

Nice patio dining and excellent friendly service. Small menu but good food nicely presented. Set menu was excellent value. The restaurant is near to Valescue Golf Club & easy to find.
