On a drive to the south of France from England, we stopped the night here rather than drive down in one go. The restaurant in our hotel had closed by this time so we went in search of food. This was the first place we...stumbled upon so went inside. I don't know what else the town had to offer, but I really don't care! The pizzas here were to die for and the service most friendly. If you're stopping by in this village, and you like pizzas, then you'd be foolish to walk past this place. If you don't feel like eating in, a takeaway service is available. We reserved a table for 8 with kids, after being recommended to try this pizzeria out.From start to finish the service was first class, friendly and efficient. The staff were fluent in English, but saw that we were keen to practice our French and cordially indulged us. The food was delicious and affordable, especially the 'menu bambino' for the children. The pizzas were light and flavoursome, and the 'Augustas' with chorizo was a favourite of the group. The kids loved the 'barbe de papa' ( candy floss) ice cream. The setting is not traditional french, it's small and modern with an outside space and also offers a takeaway service. In terms of food and service it was worth the visit.
We stopped off here during a long journey from Amboise to Sarlat ... Its about half way or just over and the restaurant is just off the highway. Its a great spot to stop ... Service is excellent and pizzas were delicious! Close your eyes...and you could think they are in Italy the taste is that great!
Really nice restaurant with the best pizzas around. We come often for lunch and always enjoy it the service is really good but do make a reservation before, as it is very popular and gets full quickly. Travelling home need to find a place to eat and spotted this place. Its a Pizzeria but has seating inside (outside in summer) We had pasta dishes which were well cooked, very tasty and nicely presented. The lady looking after us was very good. A nice place and well recommended.
Nice informal happy pizzeria, serving really delicious massive pizzas with a thin crust which was absolutely perfect. Actually very good for a motorway stop (just about a mile off the through Bessines' main street and just before the road hits the old main road...again).
If you like pizzas, then you've got to visit this restaurant. The pizzas are all hand-made in full view and they are excellent. You can dine in, outside when the weather's good or, take-away.

I'm not keen on pizza but every time I've had one here it's been excellent thin and crispy and they have good wine too
