I'd heard that the Sunday lunch here was good - and it really lived up to expectations. It's a small place so you have to book. We were greeted in both French and English by the very welcoming proprietor and were seated outside in the covered terrace - very comfortable. The menu is small but there's something for everyone. Two of us had the trio of fish consisting of prawns, monkfish and cod, served with couscous and brochette of vegetables. This was all beautifully cooked and the fish was very fresh. The other two had fresh tuna steak in a lemon and herb dressing - also excellent. There was also meat and salad on the menu. Desserts were amazing. Not the cheapest place in town, but with food...
We had lunch here on the holiday Monday. It was warm and sunny and we sat on the patio. The service is very good. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu had some interesting items on it. The problem was that, having eaten there before - under the previous owners - we found that the quality of the food was not as good as it once was. It was not bad, but when we last ate there the food was very, very good. Hopefully this is just a reflection of the growing pains of new ownership. I think that Kafe-In is probably as good as the other places in the area, but it doesn't appear to be the cut above the rest that it once was. We had a wonderful meal here and I highly recommend this place. The service was very attentive and friendly and we had excellent food. The menu is quite small but everything we had was prepared freshly and tasted amazing. They have a balanced menu with veggie, meat and fish dishes on it and a daily special. Most of the guests were locals and some even ordered for take away. I will definitely come back to taste some other great French dishes. We've been told that most of the ingredients they use are local and/or biological and you can smell and taste it.
love eating. this facility is operated and belongs to lidivic, the definitiw “Master of the House” and above all the kitchen. the restaurant is small, but we found a part of the charm that spoke to other guests. the goat cheese and the pesto starter...was amazing! we had wonderful bark and generous scallops, both delicious. the deserts were simple, but again worthy. after all, the wine was delicious. we'll see each other soon.

tiny restaurant that we are on a wet and windy night to ourselves. had the most amazing personal service from the owner/Koch/Maitre d,' ludovic. the eating and the wein were excellent (ludovic was also originally a sommelier,) and the ambiente was surprisingly perfect, despite our...his only diner and weather conditions outside. will definitely come back when we are in cagnes.
We had lunch today with our two young children, what a treat for all the family. The food and service was fantastic. It was the perfect little oasis from the searing heat today. We will absolutely be returning. Many thanks again
Superb service and food. The owner went above and beyond to accommodate our family's last minute requests. It's hard to imagine anyone being disappointed with the creative, fresh, and expertly prepared meals Le Kafe-In offers.
I have been coming to Cagnes sur mer for a few years now and we love to eat out, but I have to say this was the best meal I have had in this area. The waiter was very informative and friendly and the food was exceptional.

this place found thanks to tripadvisor, it was close to where we stayed and was also close to the beach. the food was great, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Love this place! Family run. Best wines in town served by a sommelier and super fresh food. We always return when we come to Cagnes sur Mer. It's fantastic!
