Le Lot A La Bouche

Enjoyed an evening on the first week of opening with the new Spring menu. The restaurant is modern and very comfortable. There are tables in two rooms with an open area where the chef is working. Waitress and chef were very friendly and welcoming. Carpaccio of tuna on fresh green leaves and foie gras were our delicious starters, very elegantly served. Then we enjoyed cotelets of lamb with a ratatouille and roasted small potatoes (rather too many! Main courses were served on a square glass plate and looked very appealing. The restaurant is spacious and modern. The staff are helpful and friendly. A grill style restaurant where you can easily spend a long time (if you wish) over lunch of dinner. Of course, we have not tried everything on the menu. I chose the black Angus with foie gras poele burger 14€ 4€ with which I was unfortunately very disappointed: the onion confit swamped all the other flavours, and turned what should have been a delicate blend of flavours into a burger chain style sugar overload. Perhaps one day I will return and try a steak frites, which I am sure will be excellent.

This restaurant has a simple menu, well cooked and well served. They have a 22€ set menu with Quercy salad as the starter (greens with foie gras, smoked magret and confit gésiers with an excellent walnut vinaigrette), sautéed duck magret with fries (simple, but perfectly done), and dessert of walnut tart. For wine lovers: we loved the Terra Santa rosé from Corsica (based on varietals Sciaccarellu and Niellucciu). This restaurant is open on Sundays, when most restaurants in town are closed. Service was friendly and well-informed.

We were wanting to have lunch today and we were quite late in finding a restaurant open and if they were open willing to serve us at 1.30 pm and we thought we would try this restaurant We were greeted and shown to our table We all decided on the plate du jour and vin du moment rose The food was freshly presented and very tasty Great casual restaurant, good menu, wines and a young team cooking and serving Great asset to St Cere Lyn Melbourne Australia

Very good food, quality and quantity are both there. The staff is very welcoming, very nice and very joyful.
