Menu is extensive if a little over priced however the portions are huge so don't feel you have to go for the three course menu!The food was decent, well prepared and presented with a good range of tastes catered for.Service was good and English is spoken although they do expect you to a least attempt a little French and why not, you are in France after all!Not the best meal in the world but satisfying and eaten in a pleasant environment.
They need to improve the welcoming, and be more friendly...When we arrived only 2 tables, they propose us a small table for 2 in the middle, and I requested another table near the wall, she refused because we were only 2 and the table was for 4.I can understand when the restaurant is full but it was not the case...then we left! I have planned to book room also, but as they are really not friendly we left to found another place.
The food is very good, but very let down by the service.I have worked for many years in the catering industry and do think that the most important thing is your guest. How ever at Le Manoir we felt we were an inconvenience to them, It was very quiet and a smile would not have gone a miss.We did go 3 times and if it wash't for the food we would not have returned.Please use my review as feedback not as criticism.
We were passing en route and decided to stop here for a brief lunch. Inside, the establishment is immaculately clean and the staff were very friendly. I had a simple omelette with salad, my friend opted for the moules and overall we were happy with what we chose. Wine was perfectly drinkable and the bill was around €60 for the three of us. After a trip to Mont Saint Michel we decided to eat out. This restaurant is very welcoming The French lady speaks very good EnglishThe food was lovely we chose a three course meal. For €18.00 each Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will happily return another day soon.
Stopped here with my family after visiting Mt. At. Michel. Spoke little to no English which we were used to. It didn't feel like they were even trying to meet us half way we ordered and the check came out with our order. Got the message they were ready for us to leave.
We have been going to this little local restaurants for 8 years now, and it just gets better!! It is always friendly, efficient, and always so much choice, the Gallettes are great as is the seafood!! Can get busy especially in the summer, so book in advance!!
We stopped by for lunch following a trip to Saint Michel. Our host was very friendly and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We would definitely stop by again on our next trip to Normandy Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We stayed in the Carpark on a French Passions site. We chose to eat at the restaurant, the local food was very tasty and well made. We really enjoyed the cider, wine and Muscles.
