Had a lovely evening at Le Refuge. We weren’t sure heading into the dinner as there are some very divisive reviews from a year or so back, but could not resist trying it due to the cozy atmosphere. And we’re so glad we did as we couldn’t have been happier with our meal. The wine, salad and pizza (we had the vegetarian which was so lovely) was wonderful. Staff were super nice as well. The pizza is more like a flat bread which was really nice let the toppings shine. Other diners seemed thrilled with the fondue will return for that!
We found this place by accident. We enjoyed it so much, we made reservations to return in two days. The fondue was superb and my wife’s cheeseburger was phenomenal. Exceeded our expectations. We found the staff to be friendly and attentive and our waitress spoke excellent English. Very positive experience.
Nice food, but very expensive for what it is. Devilled eggs were tasty but only 3 half eggs for €19. The fondue was alright and the cheesecake was decent. But the ‘Veggie’ starter salad was pretty bland (raw cauliflower, cold cooked pumpkin, greens and walnuts) for the price of €17.
super restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere, have been well. The dishes are very good and made home. Pizzas are excellent and are at a reasonable price. I recommend to the butternut risotto and the iced nougat! delicious meals! the service is impeccable and the very pleasant setting
