Discovered this little gem walking by and perusing the menu. Came back for dinner based on the interesting dishes. Angelique and Sylvie were very patient with my poor french. We had a magnificent experience. Appetizer with cepes, champignons and escargot in a light cream sauce...was fabulous. My wife loves terrine of foie gras and we 've enjoyed it all over the world. Sylvie 's was truly excellent. My lamb stew with carrots was mouth wateringly tender and seasoned perfectly. My wife 's mer de loupe with citrus beurre blanc and polenta cake was sublime. first nice lady beats local drinks ricard because of our friend, as terrible as a medecin from farwest doc. after we accepted the menu with just a few choices anyway it was just before a concert in arena not far away...all good end, but unhappy. I'm going to bootcall because no wifi. I suddenly saw in the cooking, because tiny place dirty like müll outside, oïly all over with aluminum paper to hide the rocky black greace over ovens, I went urgently with friends family sending them all away from germs c* before desserts plan. please never go there or only if clogging u to find wonder treatment as my wife needed during the concert to finish it all night in our bathroom in atria hôtel.
wonderful little place. unpredictable, correct and reasonable price. all run by a single woman who serves and cleanses chefs. incredible that I have come to lunch every summer since the last few years.
perfect family dinner. simple and still so delicious. local specialties. 30 years in business. the owner is really nice and friendly. an excellent surprise in nîmes.
