Meals here are the simple fare of French lunches: pan bagnat, omelettes, salads (salad a l'ail, a personal favorite! , plates of fries, sandwiches served on French bread,croque monsieur/madame, steak/fries, chicken/fries. Family owned and run. Besides doing just about every job associated with the workings of a family-run business, mother/daughter cook, son runs bar, another daughter and granddaughter wait, daughter-in-law makes the desserts . Get there early (noon or around 1:30 as it packs up with local workers. Lunch service ends at 2. Make sure to check what days of the week they are closed.
If this is what 's called the restaurant near the Rosalie church and has a flower shop in the same strt... It 's what I was searching for to say that it was the worst place I have ever visited in my entire life! Extremely RUDE people!!!! Con!!! I spent 2 hours on the road to get there, and finally, they didn 't even sell me water! I had money, but the stupid guy with the earnings said that my money was fraud! So I went back to nice, went to the closest bank near the hotel, they said my paper money are okay, bur these people are so stupid!!
We were brought here by family when visiting the area and were told that this is the best place to eat Pan Bagnat, the local speciality. The cafe was very busy and we had to wait a little while until a table became vacant. But we were soon seated and our order taken. The Pan Bagnat is like a large bread bun filled with a nicoise salad which is very nice and is very filling so only order chips if you are very hungry. There is outside seating available which overlooks the main square.
Get in by 12:00 if you want a table for lunch here! It's clearly a favourite with the local workforce who came in droves. The menu is like that of most Provencal cafes ...steaks, salads, paninis and so on. I had a cheese omelette being vegetarian and it was very nice. The service was fast and fairly friendly. It's a lovely little town and this cafe is bang in the middle....good views of the Central square from the terrace.

Just an ordinary family run café but with home grown salads and tomatoes and the lightest salad dressing ever. Ask for extra garlic (aile) with the tuna Nicoise. Their home made quiche is excellent as is the rest of the menu. And it's the only place I can afford to treat myself to a coupette of champagne! Christine, Coco and the rest of the family give everyone a very warm welcome!
I’ve been here several times because the service is very friendly and the cuisine simple and good. Lovely to sit on the terrace on a sunny day. I would tell people it is more a snack local bar. For the region, prices are reasonable and there is a lot of choice if you are on a budget.
This is a brilliant local cafe normally known as the Cafe du Midi , and is a typically local and family owned/managed cafe. Excellent value for money; steak frites is a favourite. I and my family have enjoyed many visits over the years. Locals love it and this adds to the atmosphere.
Recommended to visit here by our friends who live in France. The steak hache and gondola shaped chips along with the simple green garlic salad is simply outstanding. Beautiful location and excellent value for money. Full of locals which is a good sign.
