During our two week journey in the area we went twice to this Italian (Sicilian place with a nice evening terrace. Our table was waiting, the seats were nice, the atmosphere cool and cosy. Though there are many choices on the menu this is definitely...a pizza place. The pizze are excellent, crusty, fresh, delicious. The risotto was way less, but yes it is a pizza place. There is Sicilian beer, great French or Italian wine, nice deserts and the price is really good (Pizza delicious 14€ . The only weakness of both evenings were the service. There was a younger lady serving the tables but it looked as she did not really enjoyed her time. Happily once in a while la mama della case came to save h...
we had lunch on the outside terrace on a pleasant early afternoon – it must be a perfect location in summer. they offer a nice selection of pizzas and pasta dishes. we shared a generous tomaten and mozzarella salat (the tomaten were full of taste, even... although it is still early in the season.) we had both their pasta (plate du jour.) the pasta was perfectly boiled and the white sose was a real tasty bite. with two beers, the total bill was less than 50 euro- excellent price-performance ratio. our server was friendly and the tempo of the service was ideal. it is great to have this quality of restaurants in the heart of our village.
we ate here more than once in the city. big pizza and pastas! the staff was very friendly and accommodating, even spoke English when we fought with our French.
Very good Italian cuisine. Very friendly server. Small sweetness at the end of the meal offered by patronage. To be recommended.
