We have a yearly game food evening between brothers and sisters. This year we picked up Le Motty, was a good choice , was excellent food , big portions, very good wine. I cannot put a star more because prices are s bit in the high side, auberge need to be a bit renovated, too much old style, only two tables were taken, stuff nice but not so much involved and bit distant, but professional for sure. Never been there on summer terrace, but will try this summer
October is the season for wild game in Switzerland and Le Motty has a great reputation for its wild game dishes ranging from venison to wild boar. We ordered venison and it was served on our table with a range of garnishings: Brussel sprouts, poached apple, cooked chest nuts and jam. There was a second serving on a fresh plate and everything was warm and fresh. We can only recommend this restaurant for wild game but we have also appreciated their steaks.
very big and lovely terrace. Restaurant is classic but service war, nice and polite Good choices of specialities cooked well and a good wine card with many swiss and international wines mostly weel priced (especially swiss wines)
Le Motty is a traditional restaurant. Nothing fancy, but always good family cooking. Try it in the summer, when the terrace is open and you will enjoy a "meal in the countryside", only 10 minutes away from Lausanne. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Went to this restaurant for chasse and were not disappointed! It is very simple, but food is absolutely delicious. Take care, portions are huge!
They used to serve very good bistro food. But lately the service has deteriorated. The noodle is dry. Kidney is not fresh and overcooked.
