We drove from the south of Martinique to see Mont Pelee but unfortunately on the day the top was obscured by clouds. We decided to have lunch in the restaurant attached to the DePaz rum distillery and were not disappointed. The dressed crab starter followed by grilled fish of the day was excellent. Afterwards we took a short self guided tour of the distillery which was in full production and most interesting as we walked through the various stages of production.
This place is a steal! Their food is so so cheap! It's every seafood lover's dream come true cause it sure as hell was mine.
