at this bar restaurant tonight, from a nearby camping site, in the intention to book for dinner tomorrow night. there was about 9.30 and some mozens were there, but there were a few open tables and also some small chairs and a sofa where. you suspect that you could sit and drink. we went in and demanded the reservation, doing our best in our upholding French, a woman who seemed to be responsible, told us abruptly that we could speak in English. she informed us that they were only open for lunch tomorrow and not in the evening. fair enough, tomorrow is Sunday and also bastille day. we then asked if we could sit and drink, and were informed, again abruptly and rudely that they normally did not...
I visited Le Moulin de Coupeau while on a cycling tour.While there were some minor communication difficulties (my French is abysmal) the waitress was friendly, patient, attentive and understanding.The meal I had was delicious, most of it was excellent, although as a foreigner I was completely unprepared for Andouillette - a novel experience, and sadly one that I couldn't finish - I cannot fault the restaurant in any way for this, as I didn't research it enough!
