I am so glad that I didn't read the reviews before we booked here for Sunday lunch, we found it to be great. The service was really good, attentive without being intrusive, helpful and polite. The food was really good, and very good value. Two courses were €19. There were four of us for lunch, two of us had the foie gras and asparagus starter, three of us had the beef steak main and one had the scallops, then two had dessert. the rooms were beautifully presented, but the entrance hall had a hauch of drains. great view from the restaurant, but only the breakfast standard continental price. spa needed a good clean and treatment rooms closed felt unloved. many hand towels.
a long journey was reached through the ambiente I needed at that time. the prospect is amazing and during the reception in the bar was a little surprising, the stay met the brand for us because of the environment! will be back
