It is the OL cap par excellence...The place is typically of another age and the expression sharing a good meal takes all its meaning.In this restaurant we understand why lyon is the capital of gastronomy. The staff is at the top..the patron is the emblematic figure of this establishment...The dishes are very good and very copyy although you choose...I frequent this restaurant every 2 months and it is with a real pleasure every time...The addition is perfect, around 34€ for aperitif/entrance/plat/dessert/café/digestif/pot of wine. Bravo...A advice = mandatory booking a few days in advance.
When we called the day before for the next day, we had the chance to have a table following a discontinuation. The welcome is casual and friendly. the chef arrives to meet and recite his card, we choose from typical dishes of the region and wait around a Lyon pot. The service is fast thanks to the alert eye of the servers, no time dead, good well-docked dishes that warm the heart and the body. After a little digestive offered, the surprise of the leader: a visit to a traboule! A nice party at a Lyon who loves his job!

We were looking for a real cork, something to treat without being scammed. We opted for the museum that, from outside, does not break three legs to a duck. but the dishes are excellent. We really enjoyed it with a delicious homemade brioche sausage, and homardine sauce qunelles! the price is reasonable for the generosity of the dishes. if the room is a little bit exiguous, it offers a certain conviviality that is not unpleasant! Attention, you must at all costs book!!
Incredible culinary experience in the pure tradition of Lyon! The dishes are varied, very copied and affordable. A special mention for the boss who also offered us a history and humor course on Lyon in the traboule behind the restaurant at the end of the dinner! In short, I strongly recommend The Museum to all great lovers of the course, but also to all those who are interested in discovering the true traditional cuisine of OL.
After hearing a lot about this address, I grabbed the opportunity of an evening between colleagues to test it, and I found everything I hoped for it: a nice, relaxed welcome, with the top of the swelling of the boss, the traditional setting and atmosphere of the caps, the lyonnaiseries of very good level, and the guided tour of the traboule, of which, alone flatence, we have little benefited. The reverse of the tourist trap!!Bouchon really typical. small room where you can meet strangers at the same table, nice. The boss is really welcoming, the food is really very good. pig cheeks were a real delight. The portions are generous, being a big eater, I couldn't even take a dessert. Really a good address for yourself or to make discover the true Lyon cuisine!
I love the end-of-the-job mind of the boss and the friendliness of the staff. The dishes are delicious with excellent quality/priced ratio. Anyway, a place where I like lunch with friends or family. Attention the places are reduced so you have to think of booking between one to two weeks before.
the museum represents everything that can be imagined more typically Lyon. the boss warmly welcomes you, presents his card personally, and takes care of you throughout the meal. The kitchen is good, the warm atmosphere. Only the room is a little small, and that's a shame.
