Wonderful little place right on the water that seems to operate with a very small staff. You must follow the rules! Walk in say hello and ask to be seated. Don't just waltz in and throw yourself down at a table. They will ignore you, as they should. But once properly seated, the rose is good, the beer is cold, and the fish and chips was really good with a light batter that suits the cod. We enjoyed the entire meal including the ice cream to finish. A pretty good deal for the location. If you are in a hurry, go somewhere else as these folks like to interact with their guests which to me made it a lunch to remember
We came down to the Marina to enjoy a late lunch and it was not an easy task to pick your choice among the very many restaurants. We have followed the rule of Follow the crowd means, if it is full, the majority cannot go wrong. The restaurant is offering a large selection of food and we have opted for seafood which was served extremely well prepared and very fresh, This is not a destination but if you are there, it is a great choice.
If vs is looking for a decor of beab of resto, pass your way. with tttimes a breathtaking view of the port and its boats! cooking question, this one has nothing extraordinary, it is not at all pejorative! but the value-price ratio is very acceptable! generosity of the dishes, reception at the top and arrival! for those who do not like fried mussels whatever their preparation, their traditional hamburger or chicken vs wait!
We were on a day trip from our base in Nice whilst attending the Historic Monacco Grand Prix. The weather was glorious as we made our way along the coast. This place was a real gem. The staff were extremely helpful and the location and food were exquisite. We had a set lunchtime meal which was very reasonably priced. We have already recommended it to friends and will return. Well worth a try
Let me explain. We don't do posh very often and St Jean Cap Ferrat exudes it. My wife's salad was full of exciting ingredients and my sausages and mashed potatoes were all I could have wished for. The restaurant has made me realise that there still are places giving good value given a perfect location such as this.
My Husband and I ate here this week, we had the 3course set menu 25 euros a head, Excellent value for money the food was very good and tasty. The staff are very friendly, we will return
A nice welcome at this restaurant on the port of St Jean . We visit this restaurant regularly and it is consistantly good. Great service, good food . Worth the stop
Had the grilled chicken which was lovely. Nice value good service. There were some lovely cakes but we were too full.
