We stayed at the Albizzia hotel and after initially struggling to find somewhere local to eat (we traipsed 15-20 minutes down the seafront in the baking 36c heat to all the food places in the town centre) we decided to look around the local area closer to the hotel. I visited Valras again, but this time with a friend who was never before. Our visit was outside the season in Valras, so the opening hours had changed to 6:00-12.30, which was good. The same lady worked at the small café and I was so surprised that she reminded me of my previous visit 4 months ago! My French are very broken, but the staff is very understanding and always helpful. During this visit we went back to breakfast on our first day in Valras, and it was fantastic, despite the sky opened and an abortion of the monsoon proportions rained on us, we still had a great experience.
