Ich fühle mich betrogen! Die am meisten überhöhten Preise, die ich je gesehen habe. Wir hatten Gemüsecurry und Couscous und die Gerichte waren überhaupt nicht gut/lecker/qualitativ. Ich hatte das Gefühl, als hätten sie das billigste Tiefkühlgemüse aus dem Supermarkt und verdünnte Soße verwendet. Wir beschwerten uns über die schlechte Qualität des Essens, erhielten aber keinen Rabatt. Der Manager kam nicht, um sich um die Situation zu kümmern, in der er/sie gerade eine Pause machte, und sagte dem Kellner, er solle uns einfach den vollen Preis zahlen lassen. Also zahlten wir 82 CHF für die beiden dürftigen Gerichte und eine kleine Flasche Wasser. Der faire Preis hätte nicht mehr als 40 betrage...
First, this is the first review I've ever taken the time to do. Although the food was good, the attitude of the host/ waiter was appalling. We arrived to find an empty restaurant. Sat at our table and because of a late breakfast and about to go on a tour, we wanted something fast and light. We ordered 2 cocktails and 3 appetizers. The waiter was so incredibly rude and asked us what else we planned to order. We explained our situation and he made us feel so uncomfortable I asked if he would like for us to leave. Can i point out again, we were the only table being occupied. With disgust he said no and walked away..This behavior was unacceptable!! I would never go back and the food wasn't worth...
Don't misunderstand, the food, the service, the location, the menu rates everything was outstanding. But still I felt deceived. We ordered a chicken biryani (finger licking good) and a kebab platter but My wife wanted to had chicken n I wanted to have lamb and the Waiter obliged us by giving us 1 each in the kebab dish instead of 2 lamb kebabs. All was well till I received the bill, without informing me, without taking my consent, they charged me 25 CHF extra just to change 1 lamb kebab to chicken kebab. I felt cheated but paid without saying a word. Didn't wanted to spoil the lovely evening.
I visit the place quite often when my Istanbul nostalgia becomes unbearable and I need a cup of Turkish coffee and some baklava to sooth my soul. The interiors are simply great, a truly oriental palace, and you can have a great view of the lake and the sunset. In the bar area, the menu of both drinks and snacks could be improved. At the restaurant, you can find a good choice of oriental food, but it is quite overpriced for what it is and especially quality of service.

Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist exquisit, das Essen ist absolut lecker und sieht gut aus, die Einrichtung des Gebäudes ist atemberaubend, die Kellner sind sehr freundlich, die Badezimmer sind sauber, alles ist perfekt. Ich würde jeden Tag hierher kommen, wenn ich könnte. Eines der besten Restaurants, in dem ich je gegessen habe.
We enjoyed a delicious 3 course menu here sitting lakeside. Atmosphere and furnishings are lovely. Good service but just felt it was a little pricey for 5 stars. Would definitely return when in Geneva again.
They the most delicious food in montro ???????? also the view was so great ???????? but they told us to order more and more or the will take a charge ????
The restaurant ambience was magical, and the food was filling and was the most tasty oriental food I had in a while. The kebab with rice is a must!

Delicious middleeastern and north African experience especially jillo kebab and pamea the decor is very wonerfull from the persian era
The best dinner I had with Montreux, absolutely perfect atmosphere! I would recommend the restaurant for a special dinner!
