My pal and I had walked up the hill to Le Cannet, having got off at the wrong stop, with our eventual destination being the fantastic Pierre Bonnard museum. We stopped here at this charming cafe to drink something before passing out, and it was perfect here. Lovely owners who are so welcoming, a great selection of treats and a nice outdoor terrace. We returned here after the museum for coffee and ice cream too. Well, why not, we thought. The chocolates on sale are heavenly, as are the healthy and fresh salads on offer. We opted for caffeine and chocolate as we felt the walk justified it (cough! . A great place and ideal for those visiting the Bonnard museum across the road.
We were so lucky to discover this amazing place on our first day!Food, Ambiance, Care over The top! From breakfast to Lunch or Brunch the owner( Antonio Banderas lookalike) will always suggest you And cater to you in a delightful way. We went for lunch And our ravioli were super delicious fresh Made !!! We had a great breakfast too: jasmine tea, honey pan cakes, warm and soft Bio croissant ...everything so tasty and the quality Of The products is delicious. We can't wait to go back!!! Honestly We wish there were more places like this where you can enjoy Quality products with uncomparable customer care by the owner!!!
Le Palet Fondant is a wonderful coffee shop and restaurant in the historic town of Le Cannet, a short distance from Cannes. Jacques and Marlene welcome their guests like old friends and offer the best sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts, teas, coffees and snacks. Most restaurants in town are only open at lunchtime, but Le Palet Fondant offers a non stop service from morning till 18.00. It is located directly across from the excellent Musée Bonnard, and on the number 1 bus route from Cannes. A lovely place to stop for a coffee and macaron after your museum visit, and to enjoy warm and genuine hospitality at any time.
An excellent place for lunch or coffee and a snack after visiting the Musée Bonnard just across the street. A wide variety of choices of salads, tarts and pastas at very reasonable prices. All I wanted was a nice hot Cappuccino in a nice area. It sure is a nice area, just close to the Art Gallery in Le Cannet, but it had the most unfriendly staff on this planet and not a cheap coffee either.
My new HQ!! 10/10... Friendliness of the staff... Excellent food... I love the place and the atmosphere... Thanks for everything!
