Was kann einem da besseres passieren als ein Hotel direkt neben dieser Kathedrale zu finden.Das Le Parvis befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude in allerbester Lage. Man hat zwar keinen Aufzug, der Treppenaufgang ist eng, und der Boden knarzt; dafür logiert man in einem wunderschön und originell restaurierten Gebäude mit blitzsauberen Zimmern. Welch eine Wohltat gegenüber den anonymen Hotelbunkern der internationalen Konzerne. Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das Frühstück für französische Verhältnisse ausgezeichnet. Location is great, next to the cathedral. Service was friendly and since lunch probably has not started, the lady could easily manage bringing me the meat platter quickly. Venueis a bit strange with modern colors and seats in a sort of cave. Food was average as the small glass of white wine. The music was awful, kept on going this boring muzak. At a certain moment I got very happy: the music stopped.This is a good place for a lunch without frills. I would not go here for dinner though.
Charmant petit restaurant sur le parvis de la Cathédrale . Jolie terrasse . Beau mobilier. Tout propre entretenus toilettes irréprochables. Et délicieux plats préparés avec des produits du terroir et frais . Pour le potage il est maison ainsi que la quiche. Terrasse abrite par de grands parasols Le serveur qui est le patron d'ailleurs et fort sympathique. Je recommande fortement ce petit restaurant
Pas de cendrier mis à disposition.Sol tres sale avec des papiers! Option pour les rondelles de citron dans le coca .?Pas de glaçon dans les verres.Serveuse pas élégante ! On se demande si son sourire elle la pas oublier derrière son comptoir ? Pas très présentable. Legging + jupe = pas actuel !

With its creaky floorboards, cheerful hosts and cosy beds, Le Parvis is a delightful place to stay in Chartres. Of course, one might be happy to stay in a tent this close to the sublime cathedral but why, when such agreeable accommodation is available on the Gothic masterpiece’s doorstep.
Great location just behind the cathedral, easy to find. We seated outdoors, not particularly interesting. Funky waitress, did her best to understand the tourists. Food was ok, nothing to write to mum about. Price was quite fair. I could come again if in Chartres.
My daughter and I stopped here for lunch. We had a beautiful view of the cathedral and a delicious lunch! The food was much better than I had anticipated. One of my favorite meals in France. I had the goat cheese gratin and my daughter a quinoa salad.
Superbe accueil dans un tout petit hôtel,charmant avec vue sur la basilique.Le personnel très sympa, le patron nous a servi un copieux petit déjeuner avec jus d'orange frais et mangue fraîche, un régal.
