This is the BEST restaurant I have eaten at in Connecticut! Salmon was very fresh well cooked and delicious. Fries are crisp and simply amazing. Burger was perfect and filling, quality and not greasy! Incredible asparagus and mashed potatoes. All in all I can say it is well worth the price the quality and exceptional service speaks for itself. Repeat customers! This restaurant was the perfect setting for my birthday celebration. I started with a champagne toast and escargot, although the escargot was a little on the hard side. My boyfriend had the tuna tartare, which was delicious. For the main course, I had the hake dish and it was served just in time before they ran out. It was delicious, and to finish off the meal, we had the chocolate mousse which was better than expected. I was wondering why we hadn't been here before, as it was a fantastic culinary experience. A French pinot noir rounded out the meal perfectly. Overall, it was the best meal!
This restaurant serves a satisfactory meal with some flaws. The foie gras platter was excellent and definitely a favorite of ours. The steak fries were good, but not evenly cooked - part of the steak was overdone while the rest was medium rare. Be sure to request the peppercorn sauce with the steak! The Caesar salad was too overpowering for our liking, and my latte was disappointing. The desserts were decent, but not my top choice. Overall, it is a solid restaurant with friendly staff, but customers should be careful with their selections.
I would like to underline outstanding staff working here. Our daughter is celiac and the staff went out of their way to make sure that everything on her plate is gluten free. Food is high quality and very delicious. Their mashed potatoes bring me France. Everything was very juicy and full of flavor. Iván provided excellent and friendly service during our dinner at this restaurant. The price per person falls between $20 and $30. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top ratings of 5. I highly recommend trying the Steak Frites. There are plenty of parking options available, including a free parking lot, paid parking lot, and free street parking.
