This is a great little gem of a cafe, tucked away from the crowds on the main strip of Coogee. Be aware that it is tiny - only a few tables - but that's part of it's slightly rustic charm.The menu is simple, with only a few choices, but they are all done well and taste great. The coffee is absolutely delicious and I can never stop at just one. If you're after a light meal or snack, you can't go past their amazing pastries. The croissants are divine - flaky layers of buttery goodness. The staff are friendly and laid back and you can tell they know their regulars and locals.
It is called Le Petit Cafe, which means it is a French place, yay!! Something different from the usual cafes in Coogee... But then you have a look at the menu and everything is just the usual food, nothing is French, the place is super cute and hidden from usual tourism and they could do such a good cafe out of it... But instead, it's just one of many... Boring.
This place used to be awesome, little French cafe where u could get an awesome authentic savoury French crepe in about 5 minutes. Now u wait 35 minutes for a thick crepe that they finish off in a toaster. To the owners, spend less time worrying about presentation, I just want a crepe, this isn't masterchef. Good coffee and nice staff hence 3 stars.
This is our Saturday morning go-to cafe. The owner (I think he is the owner) is so friendly and operates the shop solo. Sometimes the barista is there, but the owner makes better coffee! He cooks, cleans, brews...all by himself! Impressive and fabulous breakfast food. Highly recommend!

Small cafe. I'm staying in Coogee so having breakfast. Most customers are locals who are clearly regular customers picking up coffee. Friendly and unpretentious. My eggs were good. Chairs are small and not very comfortable. That's OK, not here for a big event, just breakfast.
A cafe away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the main strip in Coogee. Simple food, quality ingredients with great flavours. Con is a great host...a cafe I highly recommend you all trying
Really enjoyed the warmth of Le Petit cafe, fabulous coffee and wonderful food. My husband and I both opted for big breakkie's and they did not disappoint. Will definitely be back
This is my local cafe....I work at home a lot and whenever i need a good coffee, quick touch of humanity, I head on down...meals are fresh and tasty and you never leave hungry..

can't even get the coffee right. Literally could not sip my 'flat white' as it was so over frothed it was now a solid- too hungover to say anything. Horrible.
Great coffee and great food with a friendly staff. Always a favourite break away from Coogee Bay Rd.
