We stayed in lovely Ouistreham for a couple of nights. A lot of sightseeings in driving distance and a good number of things to see and do in town. This restaurant here was only a walk away from our holiday home. The menu looked...really promising. So we came here the day we arrived right away. Our Bulldog was welcome as well inside. Staff/owner were teriffic. Wonderful people, friendly, helpful. Very relaxed. It was nice to meet them. The food was so good we came every night for dinner here during our stay. Some of the dishes we've had: Oysters: some of the best we've had on this trip Andouilette w/ fries: a realy specialty, a sausage made out entirely out of guts; not something to eat ever...
Allez-y !!!!Me suis tellement régalée que j'en ai oublié de prendre des photos des plats Entrées: accras de morue pour mon mari et filet de hareng pour moiPlats: escalope de volaille gratinée au camembert avec frites pour mon mari et pommes de terre grenaille / haricots verts pour moi.Desserts: des pateis de nata ( spécialités portugaises)La prochaine fois , je prendrai des accras ( fait maison) et une sole de Ouistreham Points forts: la rapidité / la gentillesse de Anne ( la patronne)Points à méditer: frites fraîches plutôt que surgelées( si pas possible maison)
We stayed here for three nights and found it to be quite comfortable. We weren't expecting our stay to be luxurious, but the bedrooms were adequate, with en suite facilities. The breakfast was typically French, with hot croissants and coffee, which was all we needed...to start the day. A bonus is that it is within walking distance of the ferry port, as we had not taken our car on purpose. It's also within walking distance of the town, where there are a number of good quality restaurants and bars. An enjoyable stay.
Very friendly, very helpful. Nice people and ideally located just yards from the entrance to the ferry terminal. Fine dining it ain’t but they have a menu to cater to most tastes and it does the job; lots of happy Brits, but you won’t see...too many indigenous folks. On the plus side, they seem to get their wine from the excellent Normandie Wine Warehouse round the corner, so a very decent bottle is obtainable for sensible money.

Idéalement placé à l'entrée de Ouistreham avant de rejoindre le ferry. Carte très alléchante qui est validée par la fraîcheur des produits. Les nouveaux gérants ont réussi à créer une ambiance très chaleureuse dans ce bel endroit.Nous avons trouver notre bonne adresse à Ouistrham !!
Hotel simple, cosy, très agréable, reposant, propre, confortable, accueillant, nourriture excellente, personnel parfait, discret, compétent, efficace NB (Guillaume à l'écoute) ; what else ?
Chouette séjour entre amis dans un hôtel simple mais propre. Accueil sympathique, petit déjeuner bon. À recommander pour un séjour / visites des plages du débarquement Merci pour tout
satisfais il y a un an,grande déception aujourd'hui .frites allumette surgelée ,andouillette basse qualitée.

Personnel sympa et professionnel. Très bon repas avec un menu entrée plat dessert à un prix raisonnable.
Les plats proposés sont de qualité . Le personnel est aimable et compétent. Je le recommande donc. TB
