Based on the great reviews, we drove 1.5 hours to try this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The setting is quite nice, very clean, with a lovely terrace overlooking a stream and a field. However, anti-mosquito lamps/lights would be a welcome feature. My husband was very pleased with his choices (smoked salmon tuna, ravioli with truffles, and mojito cheesecake). Mine, on the other hand, were surprisingly bland (beef carpaccio, veal roast, and Frappuccino). While the meat was clearly top quality, it lacked flavor as did the accompanying mashed potatoes, and did not meet expectations for this type of establishment. The dessert was totally underwhelming. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary. I had Salmon and tuna as an entree, the main course was ravioli with truffles and cheese cake for dessert. It was a great meal. Although my wife was less satisfied with her main course meal which was veal. The restaurant itself has a very charming ambience especially in that we ate outside on the terrace.
We had an amazing meal last night against all the odds. A massive storm hit SW France at about 6.30 pm. There were trees down everywhere got to the restaurant very late and the power had gone out.
