We are here in Normandy for 2 weeks and have eaten twice at this fantastic restaurant. The food is beautifully presented, original with oriental flavours and just delicious. Today I had a St. Jaques cupcake followed by trout with Yuzu sauce and black rice. We both had the crème brûlé which was not a bought in one and also delicious. The staff who are the same staff as the previous owner employed are delightful and professional. Well done team and look forward to seeing you in March.
Nous avons apprécié au Pois Gourmand le côté un peu plus sophistiqué que les autres restaurants de cette partie du Cotentin. Le soin apporté à la présentation, le choix proposé à la carte (un peu différent, plus ludique que dans les autres restaurants de cette région). Le personnel est à l'écoute et très sympathique. Bistronomie qui fait que l'on passe un moment un peu différent dans le coin et de ce fait nous trouvons que l'offre est intéressante.
We were recommended Le Pois Gourmand by a local friend and it did not disappoint. Quite the contrary, it was a wonderful dining experience. The menu is not extensive, but so what? There is enough variation to satisfy all tastes. Flavoursome, fresh, modern. We placed our trust in the young waiter to match wine to our food, and he did not disappoint.
