Victor and his team (chef and two daughters/servers) have totally exceeded expectations. We were referred their by our hosts and hosted a pre wedding dinner for 41 adults and 5 children and they delivered exceptional food and service. The food was a pre-decided menu which they gave us 3 choices for 3 courses, they allowed each guest to pay separately and did this with ease. All of our guests commented on how great the food quality was. Victor and his daughters were quick to respond to our needs and delivered and cleaned up the food promptly. Stopped here for lunch today and the staff were brilliant. They put up with my sub par french (I really need to get better at speaking) and helped us to order a stunning meal for a very good price. Fast service and really tasty food. A must visit for lunch if you're at the château
The server at this establishment demonstrates the very worst of rude arrogance and gives his (usually lovely) countrymen a bad name. There are plenty of other very nice places to visit in Langeais without needing to set foot in this establishment.
This may not help with your plans today, but as I sort through some old photos I realize this is the same place we visited back in 1981. So my guess is that any place that has been open nearly 40 years is pretty good!
