we have found ourselves in france for birthday and decided to visit champtoceaux and find the moulin pendu on the loire. to our joy we found the restaurant le port du moulin with view of the moulin pendu and the loire river, the perfect environment for a birthday. In the evening the owner was friendly, cheerful and helpful and has set us on the terrace with a view of the beautiful landscape. we started with a prominent one and then enjoyed a shrimp amusement bouche. one of us got the kabeljau and the other the ente confit served with a moist mild roggenbrot. my man got peach melba dessert and I got chocolate ice cream as it was my birthday. the restaurant filled quickly, but the man managed...
En balade dans le coin, nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce restaurant .Bon plan ! Cuisine faite maison, bonne cave de vins locaux, plats de poissons de Loire, viande correctement cuite et ,en bonus la salle de restaurant donne sur la Loire ! que demander de plus ?parking facile , ruine historique a coté , un moulin pendu ,la hauteur des roues se réglant en hauteur
restaurant tout simplement super, acceuil souriant, cuisine raffinée, service très agréable , prix très raisonnable. Un menu bien français comme on aime cuisiné avec l'art du patron et servi avec le professionnalisme de sa fille , le tout sur la terrasse avec vue sur la Loire, A faire et a refaire absolument
Accueil sympathique du patron et de sa fille, salle à l'étage avec vue sur la Loire.Service discret, sans attente.Cuisine bien présentée, suffisante, bien cuisinée, originale typique des bords de Loire avec des produits frais.Addition tout à fait raisonnable....On y retournera avec plaisir.
charming little restaurant in a pleasant location at the far of the loire, where I had great expectations, but found the eating uninspiring and the house white wine was quite unpleasant. this place has great potential, but I would not go back until the dinge jonathan improves. cuteton
