We found this restaurant thanks to TripAdvisor with a few postive comments but never easy to do the part of things (friends, family? ; Freshly arrived in the Dordogne we started our stay with this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The foie gras was fine, tasteful, and perfectly balanced in sanitation. The salmon nest was the same vein and the generous portions. For dessert the chef's suggestion, a delight. And for all dishes, a careful, inventive and fine presentation. The presentation of dessert, a real sculpture. All of this features a smiling, attentive and effective service. A place with lots of charm, quiet, a hotel recently taken over by a young couple invested and talented. A real quality kitchen with ultra fresh products, very masterful cooking, brief a very pleasant moment on a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view of the Dordogne countryside. A hotel with newly refurbished rooms, certainly of modest size, but very functional (bathrooms, separate toilets which is rare for this hotel category) and especially a very high quality bedding with 160 beds. In short, everything is guaranteed for a balanced dinner of quality, a restorative sleep, and awakening in a beautiful countryside. Don't hesitate!
A restaurant hotel recaptured by a talented and warm young couple. A cuisine made of ultra fresh products, a cooking of perfect meats, really a restaurant with a short but envious menu. The place is of absolute calm, the pretty terrace for lunch or dinner offers magnificent views. Excellent from beginning to end. Everything is delicious and the flavor of the dishes thanks to the mixtures of fruit or grilled melon excites taste buds!! To be strongly recommended. Absolutely delicious meal, very well presented dishes. The dessert is great art, worthy of a patissier. The charming setting, in a very pleasant village that deserves a small stroll. The owners are also charming, dedicated, and very pro. Really, an address to remember!!!
