a restaurant close to the highway, accessible quickly. possibility to eat a buffet or order on the menu. furniture and decoration are rather recent (damage for floor tiles that breaks the aesthetic dynamic of the room). staff remain professional despite some deficiencies in service. We stayed in a local hotel which unfortunaly was not serving food for some unknown reason. Nevertheless, they directed us and other guests up to Le Provençal. It was only a short walk and in fact we were so pleased. Le Provençal is attached to the Confort Hotel (but I think run independently). We had a very friendly greeting and very attentive service from the manager. The food was very good a the lovely thing was that the manager told us we could have any combination of food we wanted 'anything possible '. Having driven a long distance and staying at the hotel, we had decided to eat in the restaurant. However France was suffering torrential rain and severe flooding, this caused a very disruptive city-wide power cut. Luckily for us the buffet starters table was well stocked and had just been set out, as had the dessert selection. Our meal therefore comprised of a several course salad with assortments of fish, chicken and meats, followed by a huge black forest gateau, which I have never eaten for over 30 years and fully enjoyed the re-experience. We had lunch in this restaurant on Saturday noon. The activity was important: the reception was relatively average because we did not book. But we were let in. The organisation concerning the ordering was amazing: no card provided except that of the dishes of the moment. In fact, we had to guess that there was a map displayed at the other end of the restaurant... The arrival of the drinks and dishes is still done quickly. Great restaurant. The very pleasant service we are a family of 5, without booking we have been very welcome. Especially the children who were entitled to pencils and leaves while waiting to be served. Nice little attention. What is from the kitchen the magret the lamb chops and the children's menus were perfect. And the dessert buffet was very good a small mention for the creamy lemon meringue. A delight! Had not planned to eat here but So pleased we did. Fresh food we chose the 2 course menu. Salad buffet amazing such good choice. Then ordered the beef and a chicken dish from menu of the day. Very very nice . Regulars turned up to eat here too. So you know that's always good. Great service. Merci Beaucoup.
