Just up the main drag in Beaufort from the incongruous London bus parked at the side of another bar is this friendly little family-run halt, the Bar Le P'tit Randonneur, with its red awnings and tables on the wide pavement. We greatly enjoyed our visit. It's also close to the cheese factory/shop/museum, producing the local Beaufort. Service is friendly and efficient, whether inside or out, and it combines being a cafe with being the local boulangerie and patisserie. You can sit at the tables and watch the world go by.
