During a recent visit to Loches I was fortunate to have two meals here, one on a Saturday evening and later a Sunday lunch. The food was superb, the wine excellent and the welcome we received from Matthieu was delightful. While the dishes were all outstanding I have to mention the 'Financier Almond Tart in Fruit Coulis' - we had this on both visits and the flavours were perfect. It is necessary to reserve in advance and we observed so many being turned away. I would strongly recommend a visit for a wonderful culinary experience.

We were advised to book as the restaurant really is small inside and glad we did. The food was beautiful and cooked pretty well in front of us as the kitchen is at the heart of the restaurant. There isn't a huge choice of dishes but everything we had was lovely and the staff were very friendly and did their very best to translate the dishes and their ingredients so we felt very welcome.

Run in this little restaurant run by a duo at the top! an intimate setting for a meal of fresh and local products wonderfully well developed by the chef. a very friendly service, fine exchange at the end of the evening. one regret: that it is too far to return regularly!
