I had the opportunity to have dinner at the restaurant La récréation. I was pleasantly surprised by the service, which was impeccable. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and they did everything they could to make us enjoy a good time. The restaurant atmosphere was also very warm. On the other hand, I found that the dishes were a little expensive for what they were. For example, the day entrance, which consisted of pieces of watermelon and melon coarsely cut with a small piece of ham serrano, was at 16€. I think it's a little expensive for an entry that wasn't very copyy. I recommend this restaurant.
Difficile à Lourmarin de ne pas se faire happer par des adresses « entrecôte/ burger » aux prix au moins aussi salés que les frites surgelées qui les accompagnent À la Récréation, cuisine maison de qualité et de saison! Pour moins de 40 euros, menu soigné et assiettes généreuses, filets de rouget,tarte fine aux légumes, lapin à la sauge plat du jour au top! et poisson du jour avec une divine sauce au romarin Cadre agréable même à l’intérieur où la fraîcheur est bienvenue, n’hésitez pas si la terrasse est pleine… Bref, allez-y les yeux fermés !
Bereits vor 8 Jahren (2016) war das Restaurant in Lourmarin unser Lieblings-Restaurant. Damals haben wir von 5 Abendessen in Lourmarin 5 Mal dort gegessen. Und dieses Jahr haben wir von 6 mal Mittagessen (an verschiedenen Orten im Luberon) 3 Mal dort zu Mittag gegessen. Jeweils mit größtem Vergnügen, weil die Küche spitze (typisch süd-französisch) und der Service gut ist und weil die Preise stimmen (Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte, Dessert, Wein).

Excellent restaurant with fresh produce. Timely service as needed. Very large, well-sheltered terrace when it started to rain. The only regret but the restaurant had nothing to do with it: an English table which made an impossible noise. Stay at home English people!! In short, I recommend this restaurant without any hesitation.
I have already been to this restaurant twice – and let me tell you that it is a must when you come to Lourmarin! The cuisine is typically French and Provencal. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are family-style but well presented and delicious. The welcome is warm, the atmosphere is relaxed.
Very nice place, well appointed terrace. Top service, be it the waitress where the waitress are really very pleasant, listening and a very warm welcome. Forget about the delicious cuisine proposed by the chef. Thank you all. Restaurant I highly recommend.
The charm of the shaded terrace invites you to dream....but it is well in full consciousness that we enjoyed the dishes served with great attention.
