fantastic view and very good food. I mean excellent eating but oh! the prizes! sky high, over price. or as with all fish dishes. not expensive. prices for restaurant in kilo should be made illegal. all fishing options have been in kilos. How much does the fish weigh? How much does the skin and the bone weigh? Why can't they just offer a really expensive filet? the staff was hopeless to explain how the fish would cost. but in a ground when the fish weighed, it was euro a kilo. a part was therefore euro restaurants like these should be forced to taste their entire menu incomplete to be consistent. Sadly after being excited to see that Le Refuge had been renovated and under new ownership, we could not be more let down by our visit for dinner. The very poor quality food, (frozen veg, under cooked bread, miserable looking and tasting amuse bouche ..cherry tomatoes in oil) at eye watering prices, left us disappointed and upset having wasted one of our precious meal times in Gigaro. The staff are amateurs and not trained to deliver any kind of service and there appeared to be no knowledge or experience of the restaurant business. Don't do as we did and waste your time going to this restaurant.
Despite the very symphatic apparent responsible, this establishment is not at the level of the claimed prices. not knowing how to cook has not a beef paved is not conceivable for a restaurant. Especially when he goes back to the kitchen because very bleeding and comes back to the hard micro wave like the stones of the beach of gigaro. Miles, ten thousand apologies, but the cashier will be without forgiveness despite our meat left in the plate....everything will be paid including the coffee.... no gift...it's totally screwing the customers' mouth. shocking
For several years we have come without having anything to reproach. This year, our entire tab was very disappointed. We had reserved an ïoli. lack of freshness and the whole tab was okay. the waitress limits his behavior friend friend, see aggressive a few times. The mistress of the house calls for the tip, again at our table, and the waitress comes to shake the blankets covering the beds exposed to the outside, and when we leave we are turned off the light of the driveway. We really saw the difference with before. We won't be back.

tedious, but still unspecified. great location and great potential for this restaurant, but eating is very expensive and without character. the service is better than previous years, but still uneven and seemingly without proper management setting of the ton. Live music is a good... initiative, but who chose a pianist with a style that is suitable for a Hilton lobby? I just don't understand what the owners are trying to do this place.
Under new owners/management this place has now taken the top spot at Gigaro beach. Nice people, willingness to please, to be fast, to offer help also to people who do not speak French. And the food is simply delicious. If they stay in the price...range and do not make the same mistake like Couleurs Jardin near by by elevating prices every year, the will become a gold mine for the new owners as well as for its guests!
faithful accustomed to this wonderful place, we are always delighted to taste good grilled fish or other specialties! the hammock is very comfortable ... and the homemade desserts.
ormi the lack of air conditioning (we stayed there during the June 2017 particle) this hotel is ideally placed.

The location behind the beach is great. Food is well below average and the service is "mal aimable." Avoid.
