Le Refuge de Plate

We arrived here after a long climb shortly after the refuge had opened at the beginning of the season. We wanted omelette and beer and that was what was on offer. The beer, Lug, was delicious and the omelette with cheese and lardons was very good. A huge platter of cheese followed with two pieces of chocolate pudding between four of us and two shots of genepi - wonderful. A long steep walk back too.

Un lieu simple et authentique mais quel accueil ! Un refuge digne ce nom pour le randonneur. Un diné copieux et chaleureux, un petit déjeuné avec pain et confiture maison. Des gardiens attentionnés et qui aiment recevoir bref un lieu qui contribue à la magie du site. Merci.

Refuge CAF assez authentique tenu par un jeune couple bien sympas. Nous avons pu y manger notre piquenique en y prenant une consommation... Le vin chaud est excellent.Halte bien méritée après une montée assez sportive sur la fin ! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Après une bonne ascension pour rejoindre le désert de plate ! Heureux de trouver le refuge avec un bon accueil !! Une bonne tarte maison et un pti cappuccino avant de redescendre !!! Parfait

1er arrêt sur une rando de 3 jours. Accueil très sympathique. Refuge très propre. Repas revigorant. Ambiance conviviale. Les gardiens sont souriants et professionnels. Un joli souvenir.
