Why would I want to when I am guaranteed an excellent meal every single time, I always get a warm welcome and the service is first class, three staff serving in front of house who work perfectly together, let’s not forget the chef who I would like to give a huge thank you to for delivering every single time. If I go elsewhere I am just left disappointed. I would never get tired of going here summer or winter, the setting is beautiful, I think you have probably got the message by now I Love This Place and can not recommend it enough, my three course meal of the day and a pint of shandy was €20.50
We initially chose Le Rejallant because we wanted a pleasant birthday lunch very close to the Charente River so we could entertain relatives from Melbourne. It turned out to be an exceptionally happy occasion, mainly thanks to the excellent food, first-class service, a table next to the river (as requested) and good value for money. How could one ask for anything more! The food choices consisted of two different Plats du Jour menus and a varied À la Carte menu. Four very satisfied diners left this excellent restaurant.
This is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had with my family. The washroom were disgusting and the plates were dirty, this place was amazing a few years ago but had taken steps backwards in term of customer service and food quality, I will not be going back after this with my husband and family!
Lunch with a group of friends, we had the fixed 14€ menu. Vegetarian options available, food excellent, locally sourced and very good value. Staff efficient and friendly, and spoke English if necessary. Everything very clean, toilets immaculate. Staff wearing masks. Lovely setting too. Highly recommended.

We took the risk of eating here as the reviews from 2 years ago were very poor.But as it was just by our campsite and on the river AND it was open we booked a table. The food was good and the service excellent despite only two front of house workers

Fabulous meal for 2 with drinks for €75. A bit worried as we couldn’t find any recent reviews. Definitely do give it a try it’s a lovely setting on the river and the food was excellent.
The best table. an enthusiastic and smiling service. Last night, I cracked for fish pasta, a little happiness. And then dessert.....nothing to say, it was just perfect valentine c.
