With three courses, coffee and a bottle of Sauvignon Charentaise as well as 'service compris ' for 40 euros we maybe shouldn 't complain but the old adage that 'you get what you pay for ' certainly rings true here! With no written menu in French let alone English (and of course we would not expect the latter! either on the table or at the starter buffet it was always going to be a bit of pot luck but our admittedly limited French established via the owner what the four main courses on offer were. Plenty of options for the starters all cold although, even now, I 'm not quite sure about some of what we had eaten some tasty, some less so! The restaurant was almost complete on Tuesday noon, it's reassuring...We're on a road, and it's happening!Buffet of entrance with bulots, shrimps, clams, crudities, salads composed, charcuterie, mayonnaise house!! Etc..The main dish is also homemade and as incredible as it may seem there is a choice!! At least 6 different dishes are offered meat or fish with a choice of filling there still very varied ! The desserts are not at the same level, it's much more basic in choice than in quality!I'm not very dessert, so it didn't bother me. The wine is laid on the table, the coffee is understood and all this for 14,90 euros! !When paying a poster tells us that everything is made home with unprocess...
After a fab meal in Le Petit Gourmand in nearby Cravens we were speaking to an English couple who recommended we try Le Relais de Bel Air. We won't be going there again I'm afraid. Our attempts at French weren't appreciated and none of the staff could speak English our fault , why should they? so we had to choose blind from the menu. The food was pretty good actually but we just didn't feel welcome whereas normally we find the French delightful.

A couple welcoming that it is celebrity restaurant where celebrity bar /cafè. Very nice staff. We have never been received by the cook and for a very reasonable price.
End-of-year meal here... and I have to say I've been enjoying myself. The restaurant does not pay a mine and yet its merits the detour!
Home, just friendly, old room with still bed linen and blanket that flakes. Mixed shower joints and medium clean angles
