Without doubt, this rates as the worst restaurant meal we have ever eaten. For starters, my husband had baked camembert, this was solid and shrunken, a strange colour and had been reheated many times. I opted for charcuterie, which consisted of a small slice of salami, an unrecognisable piece of reconstituted pink something or other, small slice boudin noir and a piece of cheap pate. The main course was salmon lasagne. This too had obviously been reheated many times as it was extremely dry with absolutely no moisture so very difficult to swallow. Consequently, we left most of it. If you are travelling between Beziers and Narbonne and are hungry this IS the place. Right slap on the main road as you climb the first hill after leaving Beziers. Plenty of off road parking. This is a truck stop but they welcome regular diners. Set menu with a little choice. Price of 13 euros included three good courses, a jug of wine and a coffee. Decor is tiled floors and formica topped tables but the focus is on the food. We had the daube de boeuf superb, beefy and rich. The inevitable bread came in handy for mopping up every last drop of gravy. Very traditional menu but hearty and very well cooked.
