I accidentally stopped with my son looking for a bed and food. Staff were polite and helpful and speak only a little French we sorted a room for then night and breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable with TV and a Wi-Fi connection, en-suite bathroom with shower. The menu was quite simple and straight forward and again staff were helpful and polite and service was what I would expect. Breakfast was continental bread/young with tea and coffee. I personally would have preferred something more important, but I don't think it would be a problem if my French were better. I think the cost of the room reasonable, food was for my loved ones and staff to be polite and helpful and...
Stopped here on the way to Clermont and had a very nice lunch. The menu de jour was excellent value for money and we would definitely recommend the food. There was only one waitress for the tables on the terrace (she may have waited on the other tables inside but we couldn't see) and she was excellent with the right amount of time between courses in a very busy restaurant.

We chose this hotel because we thought it was near the GR65, Chemin de Compostela. It is about 1km away, closer to the train station. It looks like a family business, with pleasant if scant , well meaning service. The town's water is not potable and we only got one small bottle ofineral water for two people. I went there with my family for a lunch time. The food was simply excellent. We had lunch on terrasse, along the main road, which is not so busy. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for this place to be on our road !
