Meal arrived and was cold both vegetables and meat. Obviously had been sitting before being served. As my wife's meal included cold meat advised the waiter that everything was cold . Veggies and my steak taken away .Bought back veggies warm .my steak cold . Back again Came back cold Gave up and didn't eat what I had sent back. Told the staff that I was prepared to pay for everything bar my meal was then threatened with the police shouted at by two members of staff intimidated by a larger member of staff and charged £50 for a starter one main course and a £14 bottle of wine . They have done themselves and Bergrac no favours
Great ! We came on a Saturday at 4 p.m. to find out if it was open on Monday. The boss showed us around the entire restaurant which has two superb rooms. We came back to eat there and not only was the service great but the food was good as well as the wine. The cooking is well respected and most of the products offered are homemade. Very well located in Bergerac center and close to the car park.
Welcomed by a busy, but very friendly waiter. Immediately offered water for our dog. Took our order, food arrived pretty quickly as it was quite busy and had expected a bit of a wait. The salads we had were exceptionally good, fresh, really very tasty and interesting caramelised walnuts, etc really top drawer!!. Very reasonably priced, we really couldn’t fault it.
Welcome very pleasant and kind. Simple but genealogical cuisine. We were a tab, and we didn't wait much. Small personal reflection: Given the difficulties of recruitment in the restoration and reception, would it not be wise to put more gentle opinions in order not to demortize employees still passionate about their profession?
