In our most recent visit in France, my wife and I toured Paris and Champaign for 8 days, enjoying experiences in various restaurants, but none were really impressive. Some were Michelin star rated and others were not but still rated high on Google/The Fork. On our last night, we picked Le Royal Royal Champagne Hotel and Spa as a last attempt to enjoy high quality french food before leaving the country. Dining at this restaurant isn't just about eating, it's about an experience! From the staff, the service, the presentation, the food.... This is a meal you'll never forget! The staff are just amazing absolutely spot on! We felt like royalty! We had several courses of the most delicious food we've ever had, and yet didn't feel stuffed because it was served over a long period of time and timed perfectly. Each course was like a little present/surprise to enjoy and discover.
We dined at Le Royal 10/23 and chose the 10 Course Tasting Menu paired with wine. It was phenomenal! Every dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The variety of ingredients, flavors and sauces was totally unique! Anthony paired every dish perfectly with a variety of red and white wines. The staff was attentive and polite, the atmosphere was sophisticated. We highly recommended for a gastronomic experience!!! Thank you Anthony and Greg! Cheers!
