Had dinner with a group of friends. We all agreed it was one of the best seafood platters we ever had. The place is ideally situated by the Ria d'Etel and if the room itself is uninspiring, it has the honest vibe of a good local favourite. The seafood was extra fresh and served in generous quantities. The mussels in particular had a little twist which we loved without being able to guess how they had been cooked (chef's secret). Great atmosphere and passionate team. Highly recommended for a seafood orgy.
If shellfish is your thing and you are visiting this part of Bretagne this place is a must stop. Make sure you have made a reservation though otherwise you’ll be disappointed. Helpful, friendly service, a magnificent view across the inland estuary and the freshest shellfish you will ever find. Whilst there are set sharing platters listed, the staff will happily adjust according to your favourites and likes and for me the Muscadet was the perfect partner. Highly recommended enjoy!
Recently returned to my wife and I's favourite restaurant on the shore of the Etel estuary. Tucked away, overlooking the estuary with the freshest seafood imaginable. simply prepared, great wine selection, just fantastic. I don't really won't to write this review, for fear of assisting a change in this sweet and simple place....but I feel morally obliged to do so, for their sake!
I miss going there so much. Top quality seafood. Wonderful service without being pretentious. Love these guys. If you want a view, you will be spoilt. there is a tiny walk, just enough after a memorable lunch. Not a huge selection of wines and desserts but what they have is fabulous and just what you need. Not to be missed.
