We were pleased to get some seats outside this pleasant pizzaria with our 2 small children children - after a tiring boat trip. But we when it came to ordering we were soon disappointed. The server actually refused to accept our order (!) as besides our 3 pizzazs we wanted our 2 small children (2 & 4 years old) to share a pizza. The explanation given was there wasa 'house rule' that everyone had to have a main course - otherwise they claimed they would not make enough money. We were simply invited to leave if we didn't comply. We were too tired to move on... And in fairness when the pizzazs did arrive they were actually quite good, no complaints there. We have just returned from eating at this restaurant and the waitresses attitude left alot to be desired. Asked to order drinks but were given no drinks menu, and her approach to delivering a good service was unacceptable. I now wish I had checked your site and am not surprised to see its low rating. We both ordered pasta which was okay but not better than that and we decided to miss dessert & coffees rather than give this business more of our hard earned pensions. We asked if we could have some garlic bread but were told only if we ordered a salad starter when it came"on the side" - we declined. Walk on by, there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from.
My husband & I were in Collioure for 3 days at the beginning of October. On our last evening we had dinner at Le Saltimbocca. We ordered a shared plate of various local foods. It was delicious and we enjoyed it immensely. The staff were very pleasant, especially the big guy. He talked to my husband about the rugby and conversed easily in English. I speak a little French, but very slowly. All in all a great night and a good meal. Merci beaucoup.
Walking past it on the street this place was buzzing, had to wait a for a table which always a good sign but ultimately we were disappointed. The coffee was terrible and while the food was ok that's all it was. We had the calamari and tuna steak, both came with exactly the same sides and both dishes looked rather generic. Service was fine but food was only average. Plenty of better fare on offer in Collioure

I visited this restaurant in Collioure in September 2014 in a group of 7. The food was well presented and the service was quick. Overall I would rate this as very good, as it lacked the extras expected of an excellent rating. The group had a range of main courses, from salads, to pizza and meat. All were good.
We have visited this restaurant three times in the last two trips to Collioure and have not been disappointed. Nice atmosphere, friendly efficient staff, very good food- Pizza, Pasta, Fish and house wine to be recommended. We will return.
Being vegetarian and firmly regected by some other restaurants we arrived here to a very friendly welcome were it was no trouble to make us some great vegetarian dishes, the gentleman who served us was wonderful.
Huge disappointment ! Luke warm ,chewy sea food which was almost inedible , burnt and tasteless pizza, disinterested staff. Never again.

We ordered a pizza from here and took it back to our apartment. It was only ok. There are better pizza options in Collioure.
