The Savoy is a change from the usual ski resort hotel, it has a smart contemporary decor and the food to match. Modern french style cooking, well presented and beautifully cooked. Whilst the restaurant is not for those on a tight budget, the prices are not unreasonable for the location and quality. For entrée I can recommend the Ouef, which is mushroom soup with a soft poached egg and for mains the pigeon is exceptional, we couldn't manage a desert. The wine list provides a good choice, with a few regional wines. Service is excellent and friendly. Suggest booking especially on a Wednesday night during ski season.
We had dinner here on our first night in Meribel and were very pleased with our choice of venue. Great G&Ts in the cool, comfy bar downstairs before going to the buzzy restaurant upstairs. Everything we had was delicious especially the monkfish and the...steak. Perfectly cooked. Great local wine recommendations too. Highly recommend.
I hesitated a lot between the notes of average and very good. It’s actually somewhere in between. The decor and the atmosphere are lovely. The staff is very polite and helpful. My disappointment lies with the meals. The portions are too small and not up...to the quality expected vs the price. I really enjoyed the desert however.
a dinner on weekdays, after delicious cocktails on the ground floor of the hotel with an original map and very nice barmen. the meal takes place on the first floor in a very nice and all dressed wood. have often been in the restaurant and have come out every time with other feelings: sometimes a little lie, sometimes enthusiastic about the kitchen once enthused about the operation.Reltiv big and always well visited, hs by young people because of raklett. large menu many eat and eat from the opposite - good!
great food and drinks. the personal is friendly, but could be more attentive. the manager is very friendly and the management is very well done. it is expensive, but how is the rest of meribel.
We have ate out in Meribel for the past three nights. The restaurant at the Savoy was top class. Excellent food, good value. A little busy but really very good.
