I’m really not sure where to start with this review. After arriving for an evening meal with a group of six of us were greeted by loud distorted music and bright lights and an ambience not totally unlike the bus station waiting room as opposed to an Alpine village restaurant. Whilst you may be saying well perhaps you should’ve walked out, I had booked and we were hungry. Ordering was chaotic and the confused host unable to maintain his attention on taking order beyond one drink per person before being distracted by phone calls and who knows what. Once we got going with the food order he was unable to give us any advice on which fondue would be appropriate for a total of six. When the fondue...
even with a table of 19 people the service is perfect. everyone has dinner at the same time with completely different dishes. If you are looking for a friendly place where you are considered to be a member of the family it is in skanapia that you have to come. local dishes are not looking for pizza there are no. short to montalbert restaurants are excellent but it is unthinkable to escape the skanapia!
I was in Montalbert for 2 weeks and I tried a few restaurants around, but Skanapia was undoubtedly the best in the place. Everything about the restaurant is just perfect. The owners, waiters and also the Chefs there treats you like family and the food is just tooo good to be true. Try a meal there and you'll forget everything else for sure :
The service is very hot! We spent a family night at 8 or we laughed from beginning to end. food very good and in quantity! We just came back with my partner and I and we took a salad what to say? just an impressive and excellent quantity and all this on a beautiful sunny terrace! The top! Thank you! Always eat here, very friendly hosts. Superb food, including regional cuisine. Highly recommend for an evening meal with friends or family.
