We went here for dinner on Saturday night with our son and daughter-in-law and our grand-daughter who were staying in their motorhome by the lake. It was quiet at but filled up quickly, table reservation is advised. We were made very welcome by mine...host, Paul and his wife Roslyn. It was warm and comfortable and the food was quick in being served by a friendly waitress, it was plentiful, tasty and reasonably-priced. There is a good selection of typical English meals and curries plus pizzas and a children's menu. The bar served Guinness, Kilkenny beer and Stella Artois. No problem mais curieux. C est la que tout commence ;J attend une bonne demie heure avant que la jeune fille vienne me voir, j observe, et me rend compte qu elle sert les anglais sans même nous regarder. J observe encore, mais non, ce n est pas une idée, tous les anglais sont servi et nous on attend ! Bi-lingual staff welcome you to a more or less typical English bar/restaurant. Fine menu every day except Wednesdays. Live music, quizzes, large number of well kept beers. Inside or outside tables. Very friendly and helpful and it speaks for itself that everybody was happy and...chatty. The cod in Kilkenny beer batter with chips and peas, is to die for but don't ignore the rest of the menu. soleil couchant has an incredible view over the lake and this, in itself, is so relaxing only to observe the small yachts going past and general people watching is fun while they enjoy a really varied menu. the snack menu is varied and excellent for lunch. the main menu offers a good all-round selection to match any taste. highly recommended, especially for their music events that contain top notch players. booking recommended for events, Friday and Saturday nights.
we'll never go again. this place attracts less than desirable English (not schottic/Welsh/Australian) who use profanities at the bar and then the young son of the owners spreads over the length of a setee in the bar area to eat his plate. of chips, while some customers would have been grateful for a seat. we went back to a drink a few days ago and left immediately because we swear on the bar.
it is a pleasure to have a chicken cure and enjoy a beer outside in late september. the waitress I loved one by speaking English to me was charming. I wish we had come at night because I had enjoyed a gig. a friend...has fish and chips and said it was the actual ding wish the best to all you.
Bar newly decorated.Cosy woodburning stove and wonderful views. Great value course Sunday lunch for euros!Main course served with three fresh excellently cooked vegetable plus roasties etc. Good beer,cider and service. Will be taking friends for this soon.

Cette cabane ne devrait même pas porter le nom de Restaurant. Rien n'y est bon de la bière aux plats gras insipides et couteux. Un accueil désastreux nous a été réservé. On s'est vraiment sentis de trop dans cette cabane de l'horreur.
