We visited the villa meteor with a good gift. Living about 35km I had no knowledge of it. The guided tour by videos teaches us the history of the brewery as well as the different kinds of beers and how to brew them. It is a pleasant and informative visit. I regret not having been able to see the very inside of the factory (we see that part of the tanks only) but the explanations, videos and playful exhibitions allowed us to understand and know better the history of Meteor. The tour ends with a beer tasting. It is possible to taste several of the beers offered in the catalogue and we were quite surprised at the different tastes and flavors. From a small shop or merchandising and meteor beers...
Attention: Reserve for a drink at the end of the afternoon. I wanted to drink a drink at 6 p.m. but I found myself in front of a long dick while the room was almost empty.... Explanation ... there are reserved tables for 19h ... understandable but the server throws this in a somewhat haughty way... it is quite unpleasant ...
Historic place and kept in its juice. We enjoyed the interactive and fun tour and tasting, of course. Happy to discover a place with strong local anchorage that still belongs to some Alsatian irreducibles (and not an international group).
