This bar/restaurant is great for students as they serve food/lunch from about 11am-3pm at really good budget prices. I would really recommend the poulet panné wrap. It's a breaded chicken wrap and if you get 'le maxi' version it comes with chips. The whole meal for only €6/7. They also do a plat du jour but it can be really hit or miss. Sometimes it could be a really popular lasagne that's sold out, other times a mediocre chicken dish. At night time they do happy hour on drinks until about 8.30/9pm and u can get cocktails for like €3/4 which is great. Went here on an early evening during my trip to Grenoble. The place is located at 2 Rue Lakanal, Grenoble. The nice inviting roadside pub. Very buzzing with students. They also allow you to bring a sandwich from the nearby outlets when they aren’t serving any food.Grab a beer, sit down with friends or alone and watch the people move around. Love the casual relaxed vibe. This hostess was super friendly and quick in service. No comments on the food as they weren’t serving any during the time we were there.

Not quite in the historic core, but a fun place non the less. I come here often with student friends. The scene is ages 18 - 25. I would recommend Les Berthom, O'Brother Kfe, O'Callagan, or Le Hasard over this but it's fun.

All the way from greasy fries to drenched gratin the place had aweful food. The people are kind but the food was terrible. Would not recommend

Friendly bar owned by an Englishman. Reasonably priced pitchers of beer and friendly people of all ages in their large outdoor seating area.
