We arrived into Ile Rousse on Staurday evening and quickly dumped our stuff in the hotel before heading out to sample our first taste of Corsican cuisine. Yes, I know you are thinking, 'then what were we doing in a Vietnamese restaurant?'. But saturday night is apparently a big night in the town. The square was teeming with people enjoying the fair. The shops were crowded with people buying corsican tea towels and the restaurants were packed. The only place which seemed to have a table free was Tam Tam. Famished, we consoled ourselves that it was a French colony once. A tenuous link, but the only comfort we could find in the idea.We ordered some summer rolls to start and a selection of Vietn...
Really enjoyer our dinner there. We liked the place, good food, good price value, we even thought it was quite inexpensive by comparison with other local places. Although we saw some negative comments about orders taking forever to be delivered, we had a different experience and it was quite swift, even though it was crowded (summer holiday). Would definitely recommend that place.
Tried Le Tam Tam during our stay in IR. Enjoyed it. Waiter very polite and helpful - made good suggestions. Excellent platter starter and main dishes - spicy chicken and a curry. Good rice. Place deserves more customers. Would recommend to any of my British counterparts pining for something different while on holiday en Corse. Two thumbs up from us.
The owner, Suli, and his friend and colaborateur, Marcel, are very gentle, very friendly. The wine list is good, they have also tea, and is a hidden gem for locals. The food is amazing, delicious, really. It really worth a visit, or many! Already miss this place and this amazing food! Very authentic Asian Vietnamese, delicious!

We were looking for Asian food and found this restaurant. Even though it was empty, we decided to try it since it had a rating of 3.5 on Tripadvisor. Bad choice... starters were nothing special, spicy shrimp were not spicy (just sweet chili sauce? and did not taste fresh. We quickly paid and went off.
We went there twice this week. The first time, service was alright, although the waiter didn't understand us well. We got our food (which was great value for money) within 15 minutes. We thought "alright, let's go there again later this week". We then went...More
Food had great flavour everything felt homemade. Perfect waiting time between meals, not to short not too long. Extremly nice service, to us and people around us. Really deserves to be recommended and we will come back! :
We ate at this Vietnamese restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. We ordered Saigon-style pancakes and the spicy beef dish. The food prepared on-site was truly delicious. We highly recommend it!
