We went here with two families and ordered a variety of dishes. We had burgers -> good, mussels -> not so good, tuna -> okay, side dishes like fries had no taste.The waiters clearly had no interest in our table, cause I had to go up to the counter to order drinks. Location is nice, on the boulevard of Jard sur Mer overlooking the small harbor. They were quick in seating a big group without a reservation. They had some problems with two of the five meat dishes not being in stock, so we had order a burger instead of a entrecôte.It's okay not really special.
we were told by staff that food service would start in minutes , but just as we were going to have a drink we were told that we would be quite welcome to sit at table and we could order , with children...and adults this was appreciated . The service and the food were excellent , very good choice for everybody , with people watching a year old demolishing a full potion of moules and frites(mussels and chips) . We ate there a couple of times , always very good .
We have eaten here regularly over recent years and never been disappointed. The staff are always polite and friendly and work hard as it is always popular in summer. The meals are beautifully presented and always well cooked. It is situated looking out over a lovely harbour which is especially nice at sunset. It is usually our first port of call when we arrive in Jard and often where we have our last meal before returning home.
We ate here around 8 times last summer, and loved it, took friends recently and were disappointed. The service was not quite up to scratch and the food not quite as good, a request not to have gerkin or onions in a burger was met with a flat refusal and the cooking of the burgers not as ordered, and the server seemed to have no idea which order was which. Disappointed enough not to return.....

Visited lunchtime on a Wed. Was very busy, but service was quick. 2 of us had curried mussels/frites, 1 had creamed mussels and 1 had burger. All were very nice. Prices were acceptable for that area.
Used this restaurant twice during our holidays They have a good fixed three course selection as well as a wide range of single dishes. Lovely location at the port, plenty to see while you are eating
Looking out over the windmill and harbour an ideal location. Traditional French cuisine with a warm welcome. English spoken much better than my French! Main meals or coffee, excellent value.
in the early evening stopped, then decided to stay for dinner-loving eating, beautiful wine, great service and reasonable price and a look at the harbour also! will definitely return.

Had the three course set menu, and it was lovely. A glorious evening, a table by the harbour overlooking the windmill, steak and chips and a carafe or rosé. What could be better?
The moules frites is very good, and weighs in at Enough said. The outside terrace is pleasant. Food not available all day.
