Looking out over Dournenez Bay with the sunset plum centre, this is a prime location, so what a disappointment. Rickety chairs and tables, and staff that make Basil Fawlty seem charming paled into insignificance upon the appearance of Rosie, the most pungent pooch it’s ever been my misfortune to meet. The smell of dog urine odour was still in my nostrils when I got home. Never was a hound more inappropriately named. No wonder the restaurant was deserted in July, with the beach ten yards away buzzing with life. It’ll be even more deserted now cos we won’t be going back.
This is, WITHOUT DOUBT the finest view in Brittany!! So why oh why doesn't anyone make the most of it....? Doesn't even serve food now Filthy place, broken furniture, ridiculously priced bottled beer can't even be bothered to put a lock on the toilet door (two minute job PLEASE...someone with money to invest it could be a GOLD mine (so sad!
Went in and asked for ice cream. Owner was rude beyond belief and snapped he was too busy to do it. Unbelievable.
