Among the highlights of the service was the delivery of a bottle of wine cork still intact with three further visits for anyone to notice despite us drawing attention to it. Our waitress handed our five year old the dirtiest glass I have ever seen in a bar, encrusted with an unidentified red goo. They followed up by delivering the main course half way through the tapas selection, plates weren't cleared and piled up around us. We ordered a hamburger, a chicken burger arrived dispatched at such speed we couldn’t tell the waitress of the error. Went here for a meal last week. The food was OK we ordered the tomato bread and chicken croquettes basically as sides and I ordered the chicken curry, my sister ordered the fish and chips, they brought out my chicken curry more or less at the same time as they brought the tomato bread and croquettes and my sister ended up waiting a while for her fish and chips! The portions certainly weren't small and the food was good enough, though my chicken curry was the strangest one I had seen there wasn't much sauce, plenty of chicken, tiny bit of rice, lots of chips and a tomato!!! Very odd!! Would have been much better with just the rice and more sauce it tasted OK though. The service was very nice...
This is a good option for a 'Menu del Dia ', which is available all week, as well as an excellent choice of meat and fish dishes from the carta menu. Father and son run the kitchen while the mother looks after the excellent staff serving the food. Very popular with the visitors to the camping site across the road and also with locals who frequent the restaurant throughout the year. Always a friendly welcome and good food at moderate prices. My wife particularly likes the way they cook fish which is caught locally every day. The house wine is very cheap but still very tasty.
Ate here on a couple of occasions with my wife. Located near the beach we tried the menu del dia the first time. For under ten euros we had three courses from a choice of five items. The food was tasty and filling and excellent value for money. The house rose was not the best but for under six euros who cares. Total with coffees a mere 29 euros. The second visit we ordered off the menu and had hake cuttlefish and both were very nice. This is a family run restaurant where service comes with a smile. Recommended.

Eat here the other night. Busy but the waitress serving us obviously didn't care about tips as she plonked everything including drinks on the corner of the table. Maybe she was having an off day but that's not our problem. Anyway calamari was good but the mains were very bad especially the paella my wife and I had. Reviews said they're a family resturant and some of the staff were really nice except for our waitress. Anyway there you go.
Just over the road from our apartment first few times just stopped for a pre dinner drink lovely Spanish atmosphere always seemed busy, full of locals pleasant staff always got a little plate of something to go with our drinks. Then the third night we decided to try out the food well it was really lovely no frozen tapas here, and all service with a smile. Would recommend whole heartedly
Fabulous food, friendly family run restaurant. Service was good and the smell from the cooking....mmmm! Prices were so reasonable. The house white wine (Vina Oria) was less than 5 euros and very nice. Tried all sorts on the menu and we were never disappointed. Thoroughly recommend the Tucan.
Initially a bit unprepossessing but the rear terrace is quiet and adjacent to the beach with a pleasant outlook. The food (we had omlettes) was simple but good and whilst little English was spoken the service was efficient.

This place is amazing gutted we tried it on the second last night as the food is definitely worth going back for. The staff are lovely as well.
Terrible service and terrible food. We wait 1 hour to start and we had booked in the morning. Only one cooker. Disgusting experience.
